Lakeview childcare is a childcare provider based in Chichester. It is run by Kim and Jennie, two registered childminders and provide before and after school childcare in the chichester area.
"We have been open in Quarry Lane in our cabin in since Sept 2014 . We provide a homely setting for your children, both before and after school."

Kim and Jennie have been working in the childcare profession for many years both at home and in schools. In Sept 2016 they were awarded outstanding in ther OFSTED inspection which they are extremly proud of.

Our Ethos

We believe that children learn and develop best through play. We always set out to create an environment which will encapsulate the imagination of each child.
We understand the importance of children following their own interests; we also know that each child in our care will take a very different journey in their development, so we will always support and enable them to do just this. We recognise the importance of personal, social and emotional development; this is at the heart of everything that we do. Children will always feel valued, safe and secure in our care.
We understand that each child is truly unique. We want to nurture this uniqueness and create experiences which we hope will provide them with the best possible opportunities.

We recognise the importance of providing children with hands-on experiences and physical activity, to aid their early learning and development. We plan for our children to be outdoors every day. We believe that it is important for them to be outside exploring and enjoying the outdoor environment.
We spend much of our time outside at Lakeview. We enjoy planting,digging, splashing in water, building with sand and eating outside. Being creative is what we do and what our children enjoy doing. These activities can be done both inside or out.

We now provide childcare from 4 settings in the Chichester area

Quarry Lane

We opened our first site in Quarry Lane, Chichester in Sept 2014. This is an idylic setting with great access to Chichester and the A27. As childminders, we provide before and after school care for children attending schools in the Chichester area.

We opened our new setting in St Richards Catholic school in Chichester, in Jan 2017 where we provide the before school Childcare.

Fishbourne CofE Primary School

We have been running afternoon childcare from from Apr 2018 at Fishbourne CofE Primary School. As we are now OFSTED registered, we are now opening longer hours in the afternoon and opening up breakfast club as well.
